Let’s hope that Putin’s recent demonstration of his unstoppable hypersonic multiple warhead Oreshnik weapon system is sufficient to pause the neocon madmen of the USA and NATO until sanity gets restored under President Trump.
Thanks for the excellent overview of the terrible risks of recklessly provoking war. The US is asking for it at least as badly as the UK.
There is no indication in the bible that the human race will be annihilated. Jesus is coming back and will take all true believers to be with him in heaven forever.
However, the book of Revelation does speak of a third of the earth being burnt up, a third of sea creatures dying, a third of the ships destroyed. That's in chapter 13, in what seems like literal rather than symbolical language. Then it gets worse - that's only the beginning, followed by the 3 "woes" in chapter 14, which I won't try to explain, since they seem very symbolical, but they sound really bad. Hopefully we Christians will have been already been taken up by the end of ch.11.
